Who are we and what do we do?
Magic Lemur Colors is a boutique color studio in Austria. We grade features, shorts, docs, music videos, and commercials — film or digital — on-site or remotely worldwide. We also develop custom viewing/show LUTs and build tools for bespoke workflows. We collaborate closely with directors and DPs, blending creative exploration with technical precision to deliver the exact intent on screen.

Some of our recent work
Films we’ve graded have been screened at various film festivals, including International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), Flicker’s Rhode Island International Film Festival, CPH:DOX, Slamdance, Palm Springs International ShortFest, Tallgrass Film Festival, HollyShorts, Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis, Berlin Commercial Festival, and Diagonale – Festival of Austrian Film.
How do we work?
Let’s get in touch and talk! We listen to your vision, the message you want to send through your work, the emotions you want to evoke! Together we will find the look that suits your creative intentions the best. Do you already have a reference in mind? Share it with us! Should we create a lookbook together and see which direction is the most promising? We can do that too!
As Roger Deakins once said:
It's easier to make a color look good than it is for color to service a story.
And the latter is what we aim for!
We are working on a wide array of formats, videos for social media, commercials, music videos, short and feature films.

As a cinematographer, I can think of few other sentences that speak such volumes. The level of trust necessary to have a solid professional relationship between a cinematographer and a colorist could not be stressed enough: when you find a colorist you trust, you have found someone who can see the true nature of your work. Eniko brings equal parts creative brilliance and technical wizardry to the projects we have done together. At this point any project I make without her will leave me feeling lost during the post-production process. To properly color an image you must unpack not just its color science but it’s intended emotional impact. This is something Eniko does with ease and I am so incredibly blessed to have her in my corner."
